Who We Are

Paragon Geophysical Services, Inc. is owned and operated by John H. Beury III with 30+ years experience in the seismic industry. Paragon started in 1985 as a seismic field consulting and management company. In January 1993, Paragon incorporated, acquired its own seismic recording equipment and assembled a crew with highly experienced key personnel. In 1999, Paragon upgraded to the Inova System II. Continuing our commitment to change with new technologies Paragon purchased three Inova Scorpion Systems from 2005 to 2008.

The Inova Scorpion is the most advanced cable based seismic recording system, featuring the flexibility of using Three Component Digital Sensors or analog geophones. In 2010 Paragon purchased its first wireless system, the Sercel Unite. We believe this system is going to revolutionize the seismic industry. Paragon considers itself one of the most quality orientated and economical seismic crews in the industry.
